English: Name: Kibbutz Dan - fish Description: Kibbutz Dan - In 1941, the first fish ponds where carp and tilapia were raised were dug. In 1946, 2 ponds were dug and water was poured into them from the sources of Nahal Hadan, and trout fish were raised there עברית: שם: קיבוץ דן - מדגה תיאור: קיבוץ דן - בשנת 1941 נחפרו בריכות הדגים הראשונות בהן גודלו קרפיונים ואמנונים. בשנת 1946 נחפרו 2 בריכות והוזרמו אליהן מים ממקורות נחל הדן, ושם גודלו דגי פורל הערות: הקיבוץ נוסד כאחד מיישובי חומה ומגדל ומצודות אוסישקין ב-4 במאי 1939. המקימים היו קבוצת עולים מטרנסילבניה, רומניה וחברי תנועת השומר הצעיר, שהגיעו לכפר סבא בשנים 1931–1932, והקימו קיבוץ ארעי ב-1933 בגבעת השומר, ליד כפר סבא. ב-1939 נתנו מוסדות היישוב את אישורם לעלייה לקרקע, והקיבוץ נוסד באורח של קבע בקרבת צומת הגבולות ישראל - סוריה – לבנון.
