הערות: חוֹלוֹן - עיר במחוז תל אביב נוסדה ב1940 כאיחוד של חמש שכונות: גרין, מולדת, אגרובנק, קריית עבודה ושכונת עם. הוכרזה כעיר ב1950.שמה הודות למיקומה על חולות הים התיכון, ובקשר לשמן של שתי ערים מקראיות בשם זה. ב-27 בפברואר 1936 הונחה אבן הפינה לשכונה קריית עבודה. נסללו כבישים, הונחו תשתיות מים וחשמל וניטעו גנים. קק"ל מימנה עבור חברת שיכון - חברה לשכונות עובדים בע"מ רכישת האדמה מ'אגרובנק'. קבוצות פועלי בניין, פקידי ציבור וחברי משקים הצטרפו ליוזמה מהצורך במציאת פתרון למצוקת הדיור של הפועלים העירוניים.
