תיאור: מחנה גדוד העבודה במעיין חרוד
הערות: "גדוד העבודה ע"ש יוסף טרומפלדור" היה ארגון חלוצים שיתופי שהוקם בשנת 1920 חודשים מספר לאחר נפילתו של טרומפלדור, ופעל עד לשנת 1929. הגדוד הוקם על ידי מנהיגי החלוץ ואנשי "השומר": מניה וישראל שוחט, יצחק שדה ויהודה אלמוג,. חברי הגדוד דגלו במנעד רעיונות שמאליים, לאומיים וציונים. מטרות הגדוד היו : שיתופיות, התיישבות והגנה. במהלך כל שנות קיומו היו חברים בגדוד העבודה כ-2500 איש. בשנת 1921 היה הגדוד שותף להקמת עין חרוד. מקור התמונה : פרוייקט שימור לדורות של בית יגאל אלון ואוניברסיטת הרוורד.
