Description: Tel Gama (Arabic: Tel Jama) is a large mound in the northwestern Negev, on the southern bank of Nahal Hashur, near Kibbutz Ra'im, about 10 km south of Gaza.

הערות: תל גמה תל גַּמָּה (בערבית: תַל גַ'מַה) הוא תל גדול בנגב הצפוני-מערבי, בגדתו הדרומית של נחל הבשור, סמוך לקיבוץ רעים, כ-10 ק"מ דרומית לעזה. ליד התל נערך בסוף 1516 קרב ח'אן יונס, שבמהלכו הביסו כוחות האימפריה העות'מאנית את חיל הפרשים הממלוכי במהלך המלחמה הממלוכית-עות'מאנית. הארכאולוג בנימין מזר הציע לזהות את תל גמה עם עיר המלוכה הכנענית יֻרְזָה הנזכרת ברשימותיו של תחותמס השלישי פרעה מצרים המתאר את העיר כדרומית מבין ערי כנען אשר מרדו במצרים. תיאור זה מתאים למיקום התל והוא הזיהוי המקובל היום.
