Name: Beer Sheva Gan Allenby
Description: The Allenby Garden is a garden in the old city of Beer Sheva, the area of the rectangular garden is about three and a half dunams, and the length of each of its sides is about 55 meters. In its northern part is a large paved square, surrounded by grass and trees on all sides, and in the center stands a monument to the memory of General Allenby. One of the oldest gardens in Israel.

תיאור: גן אלנבי הוא גן בעיר העתיקה של באר שבע, שטחו של הגן המלבני הוא כשלושה דונם וחצי, ואורך כל אחת מצלעותיו כ-55 מטרים. בחלקו הצפוני רחבה מרוצפת גדולה, המוקפת בדשא ועצים מכל צדדיה, ובמרכזו ניצבת אנדרטה לזכרו של הגנרל אלנבי. אחד מהגנים הוותיקים בישראל.
הערות: הגן היה אחד הגנים הציבוריים הראשונים שניטעו בארץ ישראל, והוא הוקם בשנת 1902, כשנתיים לאחר ייסודה של העיר בידי העות'מאנים. הגן הוקם במרכזה של העיר,במרכז הגן הוצב עמוד שיש ועליו נחקקו סמל האימפריה העות'מאנית וכתובת המנציחה את ניצחונות הצבא הטורקי על הבריטים בקרב עזה הראשון והשני בחודשים מרץ ואפריל 1917.לאחר כיבוש העיר בקרב באר שבע ב-31 באוקטובר 1917, פיסל הפסל אברהם מלינקוב פרוטומה של הגנרל אלנבי וזו הוצבה בראש עמוד שיש הטורקי. האנדרטה החדשה נחנכה בידי הנציב העליון הרברט סמואל במרץ 1923.
