English: Name: Ein Hashofet, the water tower Description: The water tower was the first structure built on the land of Ein Hasofet in 1938. The tower was built in a high place for security purposes and to serve as a water storage pool for the planned settlement. The architect was Aryeh Sharon, who designed many of the first buildings in the kibbutz. In the first 20 years, the tower housed a weapons station, a radio station, and more עברית: שם: עין השופט מגדל המים תיאור: מגדל המים היה המבנה הראשון שנבנה על אדמת עין השופט ב 1938. המגדל נבנה במקום גבוה לצורכי ביטחון וכדי לשמש בריכת אגירה למים ליישוב המתוכנן. האדריכל היה אריה שרון, שתכנן רבים מהמבנים הראשונים בקיבוץ.ב 20 השנים הראשונות היו במגדל תחנת נשק ,תחנת רדיו ועוד הערות: עֵֵין הַשּׁוֹפֵט שייך לקיבוץ הארצי השומר הצעיר, הנמצא בתחומי מועצה אזורית מגידו.חברי קיבוץ עין השופט עלו על הקרקע ב-5 ביולי 1937 לגבעת ג'וערה שברמות מנשה, כעבור כשנה עברו המייסדים לנקודת הקבע, כמה מאות מטר מג'וערה. עליית הקיבוץ לקרקע נערכה במסגרת התיישבות חומה ומגדל. הקיבוץ נקרא על שמו של השופט לואי ברנדייס, ממנהיגיה של יהדות ארצות הברית, שהספיק לתרום כסף לביסוס הקיבוץ.בתקופת מאורעות תרצ"ו-תרצ"ט סבל הקיבוץ מהתקפות ירי רבות. באפריל 1938 נרצחו שניים מחברי הקיבוץ על ידי חברי כנופיות.(ויקיפדיה) מיקום: קיבוץ עין השופט קובץ מקורי: DSC04794.JPG |
