Summary edit

Description

After the great flood of 1913 wiped out the north span of the Harpersfield Road Covered Bridge, in Ashtabula County, Ohio, this steel structure replaced it. The original covered section was built in 1868. The unique bridges carry heavy traffic and seemed quite solid when we drove across.
