In 1961, styling was revised again, the earlier cars' chrome 'teeth' grille was replaced with a fine wire mesh insert that was finished in argent silver, headlight bezels now painted and a new 'ducktail' rear end with 4 round taillights.

1962; the side coves could no longer be painted a different colour, the chrome strakes in the cove were replaced with a grille, the rocker panel got a ribbed aluminium trim and the radiator grille was now black. The 327 introduced in 1962. 1961 engines; 245 or 270hp 283 cu in V8, fuel injected option (275 or 315hp)
