The Chrysler Corporation was founded in 1925. In 1928, Chrysler expanded, he established Plymouth and DeSoto brands and also acquired Fargo Trucks and Dodge Brothers Motors and started selling vehicles under those names.

In Canada the Saratoga continued on through to 1965 with the Windsor line remaining on the bottom. The high performance model was the 300F 2 door Hardtop and Convertible. The long Wheelbase Imperial, now marketed under its own brand, not using the Chrysler name, was available in base Custom, mid range Crown and top LeBaron.
