Description

The 2.5 V8/V8-250 is a four-door saloon which was produced by Daimler in the United Kingdom from 1962 to 1969. It was the first Daimler car to be based on a Jaguar platform, and the last Daimler car to feature a Daimler engine after the company was bought by Jaguar Cars in 1960. The 2.5 was essentially a rebadged Jaguar Mark 2 fitted with Daimler's particularly smooth 2.5-litre V8 engine and drive-train, a special Daimler fluted (furrowed brow) grille Update from this was the Daimler 250 (1967-69). More Luxurious than Jaguars.

Engine; 2548cc alloy Daimler V8.
