Description Illinois Traction System, later renamed Illinois Terminal Railroad, operated these cars and others like them on a network of routes extending from St. Louis to Decatur, Springfield, Peoria, Champaign-Urbana, and Danville. The brighter orange car was an interurban sleeping car, one of only a few to ever operate.
