Deutsch: 13.08.1986 DDR 9900 [08523] Plauen: Johanniskirche (GMP: 50.493170,12.137564). 1230 vom Deutschen Ritterorden als romanische Pfeilerbasilika errichtet. Beim Brand von 1548 wurde die Kirche schwer beschädigt; sie entstand als dreischiffige Hallenkirche mit Sterngewölbe wieder. Die spätgotischen Schnitzwerke des Altars aus dem frühen 16. Jahrhundert stammen mehrheitlich aus der Kirche in Neustädtel. Sie wurden zusammen mit einem Relief der Grablegung Christi eines unbekannten Meisters in einem neuen Gehäuse untergebracht. Es ist ein Flügelaltar, in dessen linkem Flügel oben die Verkündigung an Maria und unten die Geburt Jesu dargestellt sind. Im Mittelschrein steht eine Mondsichelmadonna, die links von einer Statue Johannes des Täufers und rechts von einer Figur der Maria Magdalena flankiert wird. Auf dem rechten Flügel ist oben die Heimsuchung Mariens und unten die der Anbetung der Heiligen Drei Könige dargestellt. [R19860813A08.TIF]19860813360NR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
