Description
English: Chassis SCFCV81CXGTL15453, engine V/585/5453/LFM. Cannock Black with black interior and black hood (ref 5218DH).

One of only 215 Aston Martin V8 Volante series 2 produced and one of only 34 factory left hand drive models with manual transmission. It is also believed to be the only triple black finished V8 Volante. SCFCV81CXGTL15453 was manufactured for the US market as show on factory records and was completed on 2 February 1986. It was supplied new via Aston Martin Lagonda of Beverly Hills, Gregg Motors, on 10 July 1987 to a California-based company, I.T.C Entreprises Inc. During its early years SCFCV81CXGTL15453 was driven minimally (about 10,700 miles) before being seized by the insurance company after insurance fraud by the first owner, following a minor fender damage.

The car remained at the insurance company’s premises for ten years before being purchased by its second (German) owner in the mid-2000s. Currently 19,200 miles.
