Deutsch: 14.05.1987 DDR 1955 [16821] Rheinsberg/Mark: Schloß und Park, heute Diabetikersanatorum. Wo sich heute das Schloß befindet, stand im Mittelalter eine Wasserburg. Die Familie von Bredow ließ nach 1566 ein Wasserschloß an dessen Stelle erbauen. Die Besitzer wechselten dann mehrfach. In den Jahren bis 1740 ließ der preußische Kronprinz Friedrich (der späteren König Friedrich II.) das Schloß umfangreich von den Baumeistern Johann Gottfried Kemmeter und Georg Wenzeslaus von Knobelsdorff ausbauen und erweitern. Bis zur Enteignung 1945 gehörten Schloß und Gut dem Haus Hohenzollern.
