Deutsch: 12.08.1988 DDR 2730 [19205] Gadebusch, Johann-Stelling-Straße 24: Schloß (GMP: 53.701076,11.111981). Anstelle des heutigen Renaissanceschlosses stand bis zum 12. Jahrhundert eine slawische Burganlage, die 1181 auf Befehl Heinrich des Löwen zerstört wurde. Später entstanden hier eine neue Befestigungsanlage und die Residenz mecklenburgischer Fürsten, von der nur noch das Neue Haus erhalten blieb. 1570/1571 durch Christoph Haubitz nach dem Vorbild der Schweriner und Wismaer Residenzen angebaut.
