Description
Deutsch: 12.05.2001 02953 Kromlau (Gablenz): Die Waldeisenbahn Muskau vor der Abfahrt aus dem Bahnhof Kromlau (GMP: 51.533040,14.627984). Der Muskauer Standesherr Graf Hermann von Arnim ließ 1895 zur Erschließung der Wälder und Rohstoffvorkommen im Umfeld von Muskau und Weißwasser eine Pferdebahn mit einer Spurweite von 600 mm anlegen. Schon 1895 wurden die ersten beiden Dampfloks angeschafft. Mit Hilfe des Landratsamtes Weißwasser wurde die Bahn als Touristenattraktion wieder aufgebaut. 1992 ging die Strecke Weißwasser-Kromlau wieder in Betrieb, 1995 folgte die Strecke Weißwasser-Bad Muskau.
