Deutsch: 13.03.2004 01796 Zuschendorf (Pirna): Sicht von Westen auf Schloß (GMP: 50.933284,13.914725) und Kirche. Im schon vorhandenen Rittergut ließ Hans II. von Carlowitz Mitte des 16. Jahrhundert das heutige Schloß errichten. Die komplett erhaltene Renaissance-Saalkirche hatte er 1559/60 direkt neben dem Stammschloß seiner Familie errichten lassen. Diese hat man 1680 völlig umgebaut, mit einem Barockturm versehen und über einen Gang mit der Gutsloge im benachbarten Schloß verbunden. Das Äußere wird vom Eindruck des Westturmes mit seiner zwiebelförmig geschweiften, laternenbekrönten Haube bestimmt, erst 1895 durch Theodor Quentin entstand. Die barocke Gestalt erhielt das Schloß um 1730. Damals gehörte es dem kurfürstlichen Sekretär Dr. Johann Stöckel, auf den auch der "Lustgarten zum Schlosse" zurückgeht.
