Description
Deutsch: 18.09.2005 01069 Dresden-Seevorstadt, Wiener Platz: Blick von Südwesten aus der Wiener Straße zum Gebäudekomplex der Reichsbahndirektion. Vorn der Nachkriegsneubau war das Reichsbahnfernmeldeamt (GMP: 51.040200,13.736472). Der Gebäudekomplex wurde von 1967 bis 1969 nach Entwürfen des Architekten A. Lohrmann errichtet. Hinten der im Dritten Reich nach einem Entwurf von Reichsbahnoberrat Richard Spröggel entstandene Erweiterungsbau der Reichsbahndirektion, Wiener Straße 5b. Die "Reichsbahnhäuser" zwischen der Wiener Straße und der Sidonienstraße stehen seit etwa 1995 leer. Durch den Bau des Tunnels am Hauptbahnhof stehen die Gebäude nicht mehr wie früher an der Wiener Straße. Die in älteren Stadtplänen noch vorhandene Lüttichaustraße ist mit dem Tunnelbau praktisch ebenfalls verschwunden. Im Vordergrund rechts die östliche Tunnelausfahrt der südlichen Fahrspur.
