Deutsch: 25.06.2006 01067 Dresden-Wilsdruffer Vorstadt, Annenstraße: Annenkirche (GMP: 51.048742,13.727501), Barockbau (1764-1769) von Johann George Schmidt. Die Geschichte der Kirche reicht zurück bis ins Jahr 1578. Benannt wurde der Neubau nach seiner Stifterin, der Kurfürstin Anna. Im Siebenjährigen Krieg zerstörten preußische Truppen das Gebäude, 1769 wurde die "zweite Annenkirche" geweiht. Unter Leitung des Dresdner Architekten Richard Schleinitz war die Kirche 1906/07 bis auf den Turm und die Umfassungsmauern abgetragen und in schlichterer Form mit Jugenstilelementen wieder aufgebaut worden. Nach dreijährigem Umbau wird sie am 21.02.1909 durch den Oberkonsistorialrat Dr. D. Dibelius feierlich geweiht. 1945 stark beschädigt. Am 03.12.1950 kann sie wieder geweiht werden. Die bauliche Wiederherstellung wird erst 1997 mit dem Aufsetzen der im Krieg zerstörten 17 m hohen Turmhaube abgeschlossen. NO-Portal. [DSCN10508.TIF]20060625265DR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
