Deutsch: 03.08.2006 09600 Weißenborn: Schloß (GMP: 50.872061,13.399188)Frauensteiner Straße 8. Sicht von Süden. Burg vermutlich aus slawischen Zeit. 1213 erstmals erwähnt. Ab 1365 für 13 Generationen im Besitz der Familie Hartitzsch. Danach viele Besitzerwechsel. Anlage im Wesentlichen spätgotisch, 16. - 17. Jh. mit späteren Umbauten. In der DDR war das Schloß Kulturhaus des VEB Papierfabrik Weißenborn. Arzt-, Bibliotheks- und Wohnräume wurden geschaffen und 1954 der Kulturhaussaal angebaut.
