Description
Deutsch: 18.10.2006 04895 Neudeck (Uebigau-Wahrenbrück): Schloß Neudeck (GMP: 51.632419,13.283831). Hofseite, Portal von 1711. Der Herrensitz ist in Jahrhunderten gewachsen, ein spätgotischer Bau, der mehrfach verändert wurde. 1521 errichtete ein Herr von Brandenstein den zweigeschossigen Hauptflügel und den an der östlichen Schmalseite hervortretenden Rundturm. 1711 kam es zu einem barocken Umbau. Der letzte Besitzer war der Major a. D. Viktor Lettre. Er ließ das Schloß 1904 bis 1905 nach Plänen von Paul Schultze-Naumburg umfassend erneuern. Die Parkseite des Schlosses erhielt eine eine barock anmutende Fassade. In der DDR und bis 1999 war hier eine Polizeischule. 2002 kaufte Hartmut Getzke aus Bergheim bei Köln die Besitzung.
