Description
Deutsch: 19.11.2006 01796 Cotta (Dohma): Schloß Großcotta (GMP: 50.904563,13.965382) Der aus dem 14. Jahrhundert bekannte Herrensitz im Ortsteil Großcotta stand bis 1402 unter der Lehnsherrschaft der Burggrafen von Dohna. Danach kam das Rittergut an die Markgrafschaft Meißen. Das Schloß stammt im Kern aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. 1833 wurde es im klassizistischen Stil und 1895 im altdeutschen Renaissancestil erweitert und umgestaltet. Nach 1945 kam das Schloß an die Konsum-Genossenschaft und diente in der DDR-Zeit als Ausbildungsstätte und Hotelfachschule, die nach der Wende geschossen wurde. Jetzt Leerstand. Ansicht Straßenseite.
