Deutsch: 06.02.2007 01109 Dresden: Gartenstadt Hellerau. Häuser (v.l.n.r.) Markt 1 bis 6 (GMP: 51.109122,13.760968), vorn Ecke zum 'Am Grünen Zipfel'. Die "Erste Gartenstadt
Deutschlands", eine Siedlung nach englischem Vorbild, wurde auf vormals Rähnitzer und Klotzscher Flur gegründet und in den Jahren 1909 bis 1914 erbaut. Die Bebaungskonzeption entwarf von Richard Riemerschmid 1907-1908 . Die Entwürfe für die Wohngebiete stammen von den Architekten Richard Riemerschmid (Wohnhausgruppen mit Läden am Marktplatz), Heinrich Tessenow und Hermann Muthesius (Heideweg) sowie weiteren Architekten. Spärer erfolgten bauliche Ergänzungen. Der Architekt Rudolf Kolbe vervollständigte in den Jahren 1929 und 1930 die Marktplatzbebauung und Hermann Muthesius hinterließ 1910 seine Spuren in der Siedlung Beim Gräbchen. Franz Schuster, ein Schüler von Heinrich Tessenow, ist Urheber des Hauses Tännichtweg 5. Hier hatte Mary Wigmann ihr Tanzatelier. Am Sonnehang stehen um 1934 erbaute Musterholzhäuser, u.a. von Wilhelm Kreis, sowie das Haus des Architekten Peter Zirkel, erbaut 2000/2001. Das Haus Auf dem Sand 4 wurde 1910 erbaut.
