Description
Deutsch: 12.02.2007 01069 Dresden-Seevorstadt West, Ammonstraße 8: Landwirtschaftsministerium (Reichsnährstand), errichtet 1936-1938 nach einem Entwurf Otto Kohtz für die Landesbauernschaft Sachsen (GMP: 51.043345,13.729389). Nach dem Weltkrieg von der Deutschen Reichsbahn der DDR, später Deutsch Bahn AG genutzt. Darauf weist das geflügelte Eisenbahnrad über dem Haupteingang hin, das anstelle des Reichsadlers angebracht wurde. Sämtliche Reliefs und Bildszenen aus dem Dritten Reich wurden beseitigt. Erhalten blieben lediglich die beiden in Stein gehauenen, mit Ähren und Feldfrüchten gefüllten Körbe, die den Treppenaufgang in der Eingangshalle flankieren und von Otto Rost stammen. Die Wandbilder in der Eingangshalle wurden 1948 durch zwei Wandfresken ersetzt, die sich auf das Eisenbahnwesen beziehen und mit "Planung und Bau" sowie "Betrieb und Verkehr" betitelt sind. Das 2004 umfassend sanierte Bauwerk wird von der Deutschen Bahn AG genutzt. [DSCN20975.TIF]20070212105DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
