Description
Deutsch: 09.03.2007 01324 Dresden, Bautzner Landstraße 6a: Kurhaus Weißer Hirsch / Hirschenhaus (GMP: 51.063498,13.821903). Ehemaliges Gutshaus (1756/1884). Das ehemalige Guts- bzw. Kurhaus ist das älteste erhaltene Gebäude des Weißen Hirschs, errichtet 1756 anstelle einer Schankwirtschaft aus dem 17. Jh. 1872 erwarb der Seifenfabrikant Ludwig Küntzelmann das Haus und erweiterte das Gutshaus für den beginnenden Kurbetrieb. 1884 wurde der bisher neunachsige Bau um je 4 Fensterachsen an jedem Ende erweitert. Das Kurhaus, wie es nun hieß, bot nun 56 geräumige Gästezimmer. 1904/05 wurde die Straßenseite an mehreren Stellen aufgebrochen und durch Schaufensterflächen ersetztz. Der Turm, die Glocke, die Windfahne und das einen Hirsch darstellende Relief über der Tür entstammen dem alten Haus. Auf dem 1999 rekonstruierten Turm prankt das Wappentier als vergoldete Wetterfahne. Ansicht Südseite. [DSCN21291.TIF]20070309100DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
