Description
Deutsch: 23.06.2007 01097 Dresden-Neustadt, Schlesischer Platz: Empfangshalle (GMP: 51.065811,13.740567) im Neustädter Bahnhof (1847). Das unter der Leitung von Otto Peters und Osmar Dürichen größtenteils aus Sandstein errichtete Empfangsgebäude wird von der Empfangshalle dominiert. Zum 100-jährigen Bestehen im Jahr 2001 wurden die Empfangs- und Bahnsteighalle umfassend saniert. Die Empfangshalle erhielt ein modernes lichtdurchlässiges Dach und die 1997 unter Putzschichten entdeckte Jugendstil-Ausmalung in Ocker- und Grüntönen wurde rekonstruiert. Außerdem ziert seitdem das nach dem Fürstenzug zweitgrößte je in Meißen hergestellte Porzellanbild eine Innenwand des Empfangsgebäudes. Die Porzellanmanufaktur Meißen erstellte das 90 Quadratmeter große Wandbild aus 900 Fliesen nach Entwürfen der Maler Horst Brettschneider und Heinz Werner. Es zeigt in 22 Impressionen Sachsens schönste Schlösser, Burgen und Gärten. [DSCN28274.TIF]20070623080DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
