Description
Deutsch: 02.08.2007 01809 Maxen (Müglitztal): Rittergut und Schloß (GMP: 50.922677,13.804792). Der Herrensitz Maxen war seit dem 14. Jahrhundert im Besitz der Familie von Karas. 1548 ging der Besitz an die meißnischen Adelsfamilie von Schönberg über. Im 19. Jahrhundert gehörte das Schloß dem Rittergutsbesitzer Friedrich Anton Serre. 1927 kam das Rittergut an Cornelius Trebbin. Nach der Bodenreform ist das Schloß in der DDR in ein Altersheim umgewandelt worden. 2003 wurde es geschlossen. Ab 2006 baute der Familienverband um den Schauspieler Peter Flache das Schloß zu Wohnzwecken aus. Südflügel. Inschrift im Eingang in der Ostwand des Westflügel zum derzeitgen Innehof.
