Description
Deutsch: 14.09.2007 01307 Dresden-Johannstadt, Blumenstraße 70 (GMP: 51.058439,13.768660): Fabrikantenvilla Gruner, erbaut vor 1867 (1858). An der Blumenstraße breitete sich bis 1873 eins der drei ersten Industriegebiete Dresdens aus. Heute ist im Haus die Apotheke Johannstadt. Nach dem Bau der Albertbrücke 1875-77 entstand auch ein Wohngebiet und die Ausdehnung des Gewerbes wurde gebremst. Die Elbkulisse am Käthe-Kollwitz-Ufer mit dem vornehmen Thomas-Müntzer-Platz entstand ab 1899 bis in die 1930er Jahre. Sie schirmt das Industriegebiet zum Fluß ab. Drei Viertel der Bausubstanz wurde 1945 zerstört. Die Entwicklung ab 1950 schwankt zwischen Wiederaufbau und Neuprägung. Die Neubaustadt entstand erst 1972-75 mit 3800 Wohnungen.
