Description
Deutsch: 03.05.2008 02692 Doberschau (Doberschau-Gaußig), Fabrikstraße: Herrenhaus (GMP: 51.153883,14.391794) eines ehemaligen Ritterguts. In Doberschau besteht seit über tausend Jahren ein Herrschaftssitz. Die älteste Befestigung ist der Burgwall, der sich über einem Granitfelsen an der Spree erhebt. Hier befand sich eine Slawenburg, die König Heinrich II. 1006 dem Hochstift Meißen schenkte. Die Doberschauer Schanze wurde von einer im Tal gelegenen Wasserburg abgelöst. Anstelle der Wasserburg entstand der rechteckige Rittergutshof, dessen Besitzer oft wechselten. Im 18. Jahrhundert errichtete man ein einfaches Herrenhaus, das um 1900 unter Ewald Hermann von Trosky eine reichere Architekturfassung erhielt. Zuletzt gehörte das Gut der Familie Mühl. Der Besitz fiel 1945 unter die Bodenreform und wurde an Flüchtlinge vermietet. 2001 kaufte ein Privatmann das Anwesen und wollte sanieren. Doch dann brannte im Februar 2002 das Dach ab.
