Deutsch: 18.06.2008 01097 Dresden-Äußere Neustadt: Innerer Neustädter Friedhof, Friedensstraße 2 / Ecke Conradstraße. Hier das Grabmal (GMP: 51.071078,13.741640) des ehemaligen russischen Staatsrates Wassili von Armstrong [nach anderer Quelle: Johann (Iwan) von Armstrong]. Es wird bis 2009 durch den Diplom-Restaurator Michael Eilenberger saniert werden. Die Ruhestätte des russischen Staatsrates ist mit einem Schiff verziert - ein dreimastiges Segelschiff auf sieben Säulen. Umgeben wird es vom Meer, auf dem zwei Ruderboote fahren. Eine Allegorie auf das Schiff des Lebens. Das Grabmal wurde bereits 100 Jahre vor dem Tod des russischen Staatsrates gefertigt. Der Restaurator Eilenberger geht davon aus, dass es ursprünglich jemand anderem zugedacht war. Für die Widersprüche, die in dem Bild zu sehen sind, hat er allerdings auch keine Erklärung: "Die Ruderer auf jedem der Boote paddeln in die entgegengesetzte Richtung. Die Boote müssten sich in der Realität im Kreis drehen." Der Innere Neustädter Friedhof wurde 1731 eingerichtet, als August der Starke den Umzug der Dreikönigskirche auf das frühere Friedhofsgelände befahl. Angelegt wurde er nach Plänen von Johann Georg Maximilian von Fürstenhoff, erweitert 1759, 1846 und im 20. Jahrhundert. [DSCN33137.TIF]20080618070DR.TIF.JPG(c)Blobelt |
