Description
Deutsch: 17.10.2008 01257 Dresden-Niedersedlitz: Sternhäuser (fälschlich oft zu Prohlis gerechnet), Sicht von Westen zur Christian-Morgenstern-Straße (GMP: 50.998570,13.801858). Das Gebäude, der sog. Stern A, ist bereits zum Abriß leergezogen. Die insgesamt fünf zehnstöckigen Gebäude der 1981 erbauten Sternenhaussiedlung mit zusammen 1500 Wohnungen wurden trotz Mieterprosteste bis 2011 von der Gagfah (inzwischen Vonovia) alle abgerissen. Für den Abriss wurden 6,4 Millionen Euro Fördermittel verbraucht. Grundlage ist der Beschluß des Dresdner Stadtrates von 2002, bis zum Jahre 2010 siebentausend Wohnungen abzureißen. Die Bundesregierung beschloß 2001 das mit 2,5 Milliarden Euro dotierte Programm "Stadtumbau Ost", das den Abriß von 350 000 Wohnungen vorsah. Am 17. Juni 2009 hat der Bundestag - neben den 350 000 Wohnungen, deren Abriß bis 2009 geplant war - nochmals die Vernichtung weiterer 200 000 bis 250 000 Wohnungen beschlossen Für diese Abrisse waren 1,5 Milliarden Euro eingeplant.
