Deutsch: 03.05.2009 04889 Gneisenaustadt Schildau, Kirchberg: Marienkirche (GMP: 51.454080,12.929520). Die ab 1170 erbaute Stadtkirche St. Marien ist im Kern eine spätromanische dreischiffige Pfeilerbasilika, mit gotischem Kreuzrippengewölbe im Mittelschiff. Chor mit Apsis. Mächtiger Westturm, ursprüngliche Nutzung als Wehrkirche. An- und Umbauten erfolgten im 13. Jahrhundert, in der zweiten Hälfte des 15. Jahrhunderts, in der ersten Hälfte des 17. Jahrhunderts (Erhöhung und Verlängerung der Seitenschiffwände), Ende des 17. Jahrhunderts/Anfang des 18. Jahrhunderts, Ende des 18. Jahrhunderts sowie im 19. Jahrhundert.
