Deutsch: 03.05.2009 04688 Mutzschen (Grimma): Schloß (GMP: 51.261160,13.884854). Barockbau von 1703, 1754 erneuert. 1060 wurde die erste Burgwallanlage als Burgwartsitz erbaut. Seit 1206 ist sie Herrensitz des Konrad von Mutsin (Mutzschen). 1308 kam die befestigte Anlage in den Besitz der Burggrafen von Leising und 1400 in den Besitz der Familie von Starrschädel. Kurfürst August I. von Sachsen erwarb 1565 die Burg und ließ sie im wohnlichen Stil der Renaissance umgestalten. 1681 wurde sie durch Brand vernichtet. Ab 1703 erfolgte der Wiederaufbau unter Kurfürst August der Starke im barocken Stil als Unterkunft für die Jagdgesellschaften von Schloß Hubertusburg. Bau der Steinbrücke. Nach 1945 wurde der letzte Besitzer enteignet. Die Burg war Jugendschule, später Jugenherberge, die 1999 geschlossen wurde. 2007 wurde das Schloß für 600 000 EUR von der Stadt an einen deutschen Investor verkauft. Sicht aus dem Park von Süden.
