Description
Deutsch: 07.06.2009 01773 Bärenstein (Altenberg Sachs.): Schloß Bärenstein (GMP: 50.803107,13.803237). Die Anfänge der Burg gehen wahrscheinlich bis in die Zeit der Kolonisation um 1200 zurück. Erste urkundliche Erwähnung 1324. Renaissancebau 15. und 16. Jahrhundert. Ältester Teil ist der südliche Rundturm. Über 300 Jahre Stammsitz des Gründergeschlechts von Bernstein. Es folgten als Besitzer die von Schönberg (1699-1711), von Holzendorff (1711-1755), Gräfin von Bünau geb. Gräfin von Cosel (1795-1816), ab 1816 Familie von Lüttichau bis zur Enteignung 1945. Nach der Bodenreform bis 1991 Schulungs- und Ferienheim der NDPD. 1995 Verkauf durch die Treuhand an den jetzigen Besitzer. Nicht zugänglich. Sicht vom Gusthof aus Westen.
