Description
Deutsch: 18.08.2009 04668 Pomßen (Parthenstein): Dorfkirche (GMP: 51.239047,12.613028). Die romanische Wehrkirche gilt als eine der wertvollsten sächsischen Dorfkirchen im Leipziger Land. Die ältesten Teile der Kirche, romanische Kapitelle, Apsis und romanische Fenster, stammen aus dem 13. Jahrhundert. Auf das 15. Jahrhundert gehen Mauerdurchbruch vom Kirchenschiff zum Turm, der Türbogen aus Rochlitzer Porphyr und der Taufstein zurück. Von 1536 bis 1782 waren die Herren von Ponickau Besitzer von Gut und Schloß Pomßen. Damit waren sie auch Patronatsherren der Kirche. In ihrer Zeit entstand im Wesentlichen die heutige Ausstattung der Kirche. Der RenaissanceAltar von 1560 aus der Freiberger Bildhauerschule Andreas Lorenz dürfte die erste große Anschaffung gewesen sein. Kanzel von 1660, Kruzifix 15. Jh., bemalte Felderdecke, Emporen von 1688, Loge von 1686, zahlreiche Epitaphe der Familie von Ponickau 16.-18. Jh. [DSCN38552-38553.TIF]20090818240MDR.JPG(c)Blobelt
