Deutsch: 14.04.2010 04720 Mockritz (Großweitzschen): Dorfkirche (GMP: 51.163159,13.076122). Die alte Kirche Mockritz ist beim Dorfbrand 1673 abgebrannt. Die Grundmauern wurden für den Wiederaufbau verwendet. 1676 war der Kirchturm wieder aufgebaut, 1687 insgesamt fertig und eingeweiht. 1833 wurde die Kirche innen völlig umgestaltet und erhielt den klassizistischen Kanzelaltar. 1846 wurde die alte durch eine neue Orgel von der Firma Kreuzbach/ Borna ersetzt. Dieses Werk klingt heute noch nach einer grundlegenden Restaurierung im Jahr 1995. Holzfelderdecke ohne Bemalung. Die Patronatskirche steht unmittelbar neben dem Herrensitz. Der benachbarte Schloßflügel und das Gotteshaus waren früher durch einen brückenartigen hölzernen Gang verbunden, über den die Gutsbesitzerfamilie trockenen Fußes ihre Patronatsloge erreichte.
