Description
Deutsch: 08.03.2011 04758 Altoschatz (Oschatz): Ev.-Luth. Kirche Altoschatz, Thalheimer Straße (GMP: 51.289310,13.097000). Die Geschichte der Kirche geht bis in das 14. Jahrhundert

zurück. Sie wurde im Laufe der Jahrhunderte immer wieder umgebaut und erweitert. Der Altar aus einer Großenhainer Werkstatt aus der Zeit von 1515/20 war ursprünglich ein Flügelaltar, der im Zuge der Reformation zu einem Kanzelaltar umgestaltet wurde. Auch die Emporen wurden mehrfach umgebaut. Die untere Nordempore ließ der Viertelhüfner Caspar Hoppe 1745 zum Gedenken an seine drei erstorbenen Kinder bemalen. Die obere Nordempore wurde 1819 hinzugefügt, die Loge an der Südseite des Chores um 1770
