Deutsch: 14.04.2011 04774 Schmannewitz (Dahlen), Torgauer Straße 20: Barocke Dorfkirche von 1732 (GMP: 51.397604,12.985158). Der Ratszimmermeister George Bähr, der auch die berühmte Dresdner Frauenkirche entwarf, fertigte den Riss an, nach dem die Bauleute das Gotteshaus 1731/32 als Saalkirche ausführten. Der Orgelprospekt stammt aus der Kirche in Cröbern bei Leipzig, die dem Braunkohlentagebau zum Opfer fiel; das Instrument dahinter fertigte 1977 Wilhelm Rühle (1906-1993) aus Moritzburg an. In der Kirche finden nicht nur Gottesdienste, sondern auch Orgelmusiken statt. Zu den bekannten "Mittwochsmusiken" werden im Sommer unterschiedliche Organisten und Musiker eingeladen.
