Description
Deutsch: 15.04.2011 04758 Limbach (Oschatz): Evangelische Dorfkirche (GMP: 51.263611,51.263611). Die Limbacher Kirche wurde um 1460 errichtet. Der flachgedeckte Raumwurde 1822 mit Gestühl und Emporen ausgestattet. Im Osten wird der Gottesdienstraum von einem Sakristeieinbau mit Empore begrenzt. Davor steht ein spätgotischer Schnitzaltar von 1514. Im Schrein sind die Muttergottes sowie der heilige Martin und der heilige Nikolaus zu sehen; auf der Rückseite befindet sich eine gemalte Ritterdarstellung. Möglicherweise handelt es sich um Georg von Schleinitz auf Saalhausen, der als Stifter des Altars zu vermuten ist. [DSCNn2152.TIF]20110415105DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
