Description
Deutsch: 18.04.2011 04758 Terpitz (Liebschützberg): Dorfkirche (GMP: 51.328209,12.127663). Die evangelische Dorfkirche in Terpitz wurde 1711/12 errichtet und am ersten Advent 1712 geweiht. Sie ersetzte einen älteren Vorgängerbau. Die barocke Saalkirche hat eine einfache geometrische Gestalt. Das Kirchenschiff teilt sich in zwei Raumzonen. Im Osten steht der 1712 geschaffene Kanzelaltar. Der Sandsteinaufbau besitzt eine reiche barocke Gliederung mit Pilastern, Blattwerk, Ziergehängen und geschweiftem Giebel. Ob sich in den ovalen Medaillons zu beiden Seiten der Kanzel ehemals gemalte Bildtafeln befunden haben, ist nicht bekannt. [DSCNn2306.TIF]20110418355DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
