Deutsch: 18.04.2011 04774 Großböhla (Dahlen), Am Park: Die Dorfkirche (GMP: 51.339823,13.032016) in Großböhla war immer eng mit dem Rittergut verbunden, das von 1779 bis 1945 der aus der Altmark stammenden Adelsfamilie von Krosigk gehörte. Die Rittergutsbesitzer waren die Patronatsherren und damit für den baulichen Unterhalt des Gotteshauses verantwortlich. Unmittelbar nachdem Charlotte Elisabeth von Krosigk, geborene von Miltitz, das Rittergut geerbt hatte, wurde anstelle der romanischen Saalkirche ein spätbarocker Neubau errichtet. Amtsmaurermeister Christian Wardig aus Mutzschen, der das Gotteshaus 1781/82 ausführte, bezog die Außenmauern der romanischen Vorgängerbaus in das neue Kirchenschiff ein. Innen ist der Zustand des 18. Jahrhunderts weitgehend erhalten geblieben. Die dekorative Ausmalung nahm der Kirchenmaler Richard Schultz aus Leipzig vor. Blick zum prächtigen Kanzelaltar.
