Description
Deutsch: 04.07.2012 07388 Leutenberg, Schloßstraße 25: Schloß Friedensburg (GMP: 50.565317,11.459104). Die Baugeschichte der Burg beginnt im 9. Jahrhundert. Unregelmäßige, den Gegebenheiten des Geländes angepaßte Anlage, im Kern spätgotisch 15. Jh., im 17. Jh. um- und ausgebaut, Sie war Sitz der 1187 erstmals erwähnten Ministerialen von Lutenburg (Leutenberg). Später folgten die Grafen von Schwarzburg-Leutenberg als Burgherren (zwischen 1362 und 1564). Nach Brand 1934 wiederhergestellt. Nach dem Wiederaufbau diente die Schloßburg, die sich seit 1935 in Landesbesitz befand, als Ferienheim und später als Haus für den Ministerrat der DDR. Zwischen 1991 und 1993 wurde sie erneut umfassend saniert und dient seitdem als Fachkrankenhaus für Dermatologie. [DSCNn4239.TIF]20120704350DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
