Description
Deutsch: 08.11.2014 01067 Dresden-Wilsdruffer Vorstadt. Am Freiberger Platz, nordwestlich vor der Annenkirche (GMP: 51.048742,13.727501), steht das Denkmal "Anna Churfürstin von Sachsen". Kurfürstin Anna (1532 - 1585), Tochter des dänischen Königs Christian III. war Gemahlin des sächsischen Kurfürsten August (1526 - 1586). Geschaffen wurde das Denkmal vom Bildhauer Robert Henze und 1869 vor dem Südwest-Eingang der Annenkirche errichtet. Die Statue wurde 1945 kriegsbeschädigt geborgen und auf dem Alten Annenfriedhof aufbewahrt. Die Wiederaufstellung in etwa 50 Meter Entfernung vom ursprünglichen Standort erfolgte 2011.
