Deutsch: 24.04.2015 03253 Doberlug-Kirchhain, Schloßplatz: Das Schloß Doberlug (GMP: 51.610125,13.546201) geht auf den Herrschaftssitz Dobrilugk zurück, der 1551 unter dem
sächsischen Berghauptmann Heinrich von Gersdorf begonnen wurde. Kurfürst Johann Georg I. von Sachsen, der 1623 die Herrschaft Dobrilugk in Besitz nahm, ließ das unfertige Schloß als Jagdresidenz ausbauen. Herzog Christian I. von Sachsen-Merseburg vollendete das Vorhaben seines Vaters und baute die Vierflügelanlage nach 1664 prachtvoll aus und hielt dabei noch an den Bauformen der Renaissance fest. 1676 vollendet, ist das Schloß Dobrilugk der letzte Residenzbau der sächsischen Renaissance. 1945 wurde das Schloß von der Roten Armee besetzt, die es in eine Kaserne umwandelte. In der DDR war hier das Eisenbahnpionierausbildungsregiment der Nationalen Volksarmee (NVA) stationiert. Seit 1994 laufen Sanierungsmaßnahmen. 2014 konnte in einigen Räumen des Schlosses schließlich die erste Brandenburgische Landesaustellung gezeigt werden. Sicht von Südwesten.
