Description
Deutsch: 29.04.2016 01824 Rosenthal (Rosenthal-Bielatal), Schweizermühle 14: Lässigs Villa (GMP: 50.847990,14.043235). Die kleine Ansiedlung Schweizermühle geht auf ein im 15. Jahrhundert erstmals erwähntes Hammerwerk (Oberhütte) zurück. Die Schweizermühle war Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts ein beliebter Badeort beim deutschen und europäischen Hochadel. Der Schwede Martin von Bergwall hatte sich 1846 auf seinem Parkgrundstück - heute Schwedengarten genannt - eine Villa im italienischen Still errichtet. Das heute hier stehende villenartige Wohnhaus mit Uhrenturm und Nischenfigur an der Fassade wurde 1868/69 anstelle des Hauses Bergwall errichtet. Erbauer war Gustav Adolph Lässig, doch seit 1875 befand sich das Gebäude im Besitz des Schokoladenfabrikanten Jordan (daher auch Villa Jordan oder Turmvilla). In der DDR-Zeit dienten die Gebäude im Areal Schweizermühle als Erholungs- und Ferienheim, Tuberkuloseheilstätte und Altersheim. Lange vom Verfall bedroht, hat der neue Eigentümer Thomas Winkler die Villa ab 2008 sachkundig restauriert. [SAM5029+5031.JPG]20160429415MDR.JPG(c)Blobelt
