Description
Deutsch: 18.07.2016 09619 Sayda: Herrenhaus Schloßweg 4 (GMP: 50.712425,13.417380). Ab 1747 hielt sich ein Vitzthumisches Kürassierregiment in Sayda auf. Rittmeister Vitzthum von Eckstädt besaß das Schloß in Sayda mehrere Jahrzehnte. 1877 brannte das alte Vorwerk ab und man erbaute das heutige Gebäude. Der noch vom alten Herrenhaus stammende Wappenstein von 1774 über dem Portal erinnert an J. E. Vitzthum von Eckstädt und seine Frau M. E. Vitzthum von Eckstädt geb. Hahn.
