Victory Gold. The FG-X Falcon was built from Dec 2014- Oct 2016. The FG-X was the last facelift on the FG Falcon and the last Falcon to be built in Australia. Ford will not make any Falcons after 2016. In terms of styling the FG-X Falcon range receives a redesigned front bumper design with Ford’s new trapezoidal grille. At the rear, sedan models feature a new taillight design that looks similar to those of the Jaguar XF. Only the sedan and utility now available. Ford Performance Vehicles no longer built performance cars for Ford The base model got climate control and cruise control The Luxury model was the G6E; upmarket front fascia, leather interior, chrome trim and 18in alloys. Turbo option The sporty XR6; Sports interior and body kit. Turbo option. The sporty XR8; as above but Boss 335 kw Also Utility; Falcon, XR6 and XR6 Turbo The limited Edition XR6 and XR8 Sprint were available in 2016, the fastest Falcons ever, 325kw for the 6 and 345 kw for the 8. They got subtle styling, with unique wheels, unique fog light surrounds, boot spoiler and side stripes 550 XR6 Sprints, 850 XR8 Sprints made, 30 XR6 Sprints in Victory Gold, 51 XR8s Engines; 2.0 4 cyl Turbo, 4.0 6 cyl, 4.0 6 cyl Turbo or 335kw 5.0 supercharged Miami V8 Photographed at Blue Sunday, the last week of the Australian Falcon production |
