Description
Deutsch: 12.05.2019 01809 Heidenau, Lockwitzer Straße 7 (Höhenweg): Der Lugturm (GMP: 50.978327,13.833694) wurde 1880 vom Niedersedlitzer Gebirgsverein erbaut. Seit 1938 ist der Turm gesperrt, aber das Areal um den Turm wurde auch in der DDR-Zeit noch genutzt. Nach der Wende verwilderte das bewaldete Gelände und der Lugturm fiel für ein viertel Jahrhundert in einen Dornröschenschlaf. Aus diesem ist er nach der Sanierung der Freiflächen wieder erwacht. Seit dem 30.04.2017 ist das Freigelände zu Veranstaltungen wieder geöffnet. Der Turm steht auf Heidenauer Flur, wird aber umgangssprachlich oft zu Luga (Dresden) gerechnet.
