Deutsch: 28.09.2020 01309 Dresden-Striesen: STADTPALAIS DRESDEN STRIESEN, Wartburgstraße 23 (GMP: 51.048502,13.784557). Das 1874 im französischen Chateaustil erbaute
Gebäude wurde als Elite-Gymnasium kurz nach dem Deutsch-Französischen Krieg errichtet. Hier wurde in den folgenden Jahrzehnten Striesener und Dresdener Stadtgeschichte geschrieben, so z.B. am 01.06.1892, als im Hause feierlich die Eingemeindungsverträge der Gemeinde Striesen zur Residenzstadt Dresden unterzeichnet wurden. Später wurde das Anwesen als Sitz der Stadtsparkasse und als Amtsgebäude (Stadthaus) genutzt. Am seitlichen Anbau mit dem Portal waren bis zur Sanierung 2009/10 noch die Reste der übereinander geschriebenen Schriften "STADTHAUS" und "Sparkasse der Stadt Dresden" zu lesen. 2009/10 wurde das Haus zu einem Wohngebäude mit 11 exklusiven Eigentumswohnungen umgebaut.
