Description
English: On 2nd May 1995 Pathfinder Tours attempted to take a single Standard class 4MT 2-6-4T up the Conwy Valley line with six coaches on. Needless to say, the train stalled at the entrance to Pant tunnel on the 1:47 gradient.

Old steam hands chorused "I told you so" remarking that a Class 4 would normally have had a maximum of four coaches back in steam days.

The train set back to Betws-y-Coed where I took these pictures in the rather overgrown (although still active) platform.
